Happy New Year and welcome to 2016. I hope you were able to take some days off over the holidays. I did and although I’m paying for it now with a full email box and longgggggg to-do list the downtime was worth it and I’m re-energized and ready to go.
While I’m planning out the year ahead I’m spending the next month on the blog looking back at 2015 and some of the themes that presented themselves over the course of the last 12 months. One that really jumped out at me in particular was older animals. When I look back at shoots from 2015 it’s as if Old was the new New and this shows no signs of changing any time soon. I had more sessions with senior dogs and cats than I have in any past year which pleases me to no end. To me it’s a sign that senior-focused rescue groups like Muttville Senior Dog Rescue and others are having an impact and that more and more people are adopting older animals and/or keeping pets in their families a lot longer than in the past.
You can see why when you take a look at these top ten senior pet photos from 2015. Please come back and check out this blog in the coming weeks for other highlights from the past year.
If you have any thoughts on this post or ideas for other ones I always love hearing from you.
