I’m a bit of a sentimentalist and purist when it comes to the end-of-year holiday season. It really is when I like to pause and be grateful for what I have and who I’m with. For me it’s not about shopping and door-buster sales. I am most definitely not a big fan of the whole Black-Friday-Everything-Is-On-Sale-Line-Up-At-the-Store-Before-You-Finish-Eating vibe that’s pervaded for the last few years,
So what on earth does this have to do with pets and pet photography you ask? Well my antidote for holiday consumerism this year is a little exercise I think you might enjoy that does tie in with the season and gratitude.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to buy anything. The winner will get a copy of Thanks for Picking Up My Poop (my new book) which is all about dog gratitude and I’ll make a $50 donation to the animal rescue group of your choice.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday, December 8.
To enter go to facebook, follow my page, upload a picture of your pet and share what they’d be grateful for. You can do the same on Twitter or instagram and use the hashtag #poopthanks
