A couple of weeks back I posted shots from my first session with a litter of nine German Shorthaired Pointer puppies fostered by the amazing folks at Pound Puppy Rescue. In that session, the pups were just a week old and didn’t move around a whole lot. When I went back two weeks later a lot had changed: they were twice the size, their eyes were open and they definitely moved!
Sadly, two of the original nine fell ill with kennel cough and did not survive but I’m happy to report that all remaining seven pups and their mom Abigail are healthy and in new homes — special thanks to Norcal GSP Rescue for finding a great landing spot for Abigail.
Enjoy these photos below and be sure to stay tuned for pix from my last session with them at six-weeks old. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for some big news coming on this blog next week…
