update: good news! Dixie was adopted on 3/28 but the other three puppies and toto still need homes
If you’d asked me Monday what I did all day I could have looked at you with a straight face and said I spent it with four 9-week old puppies named after dog movie stars. Yep, tough way to spend a day. Came home absolutely wreaking of puppy breath from Marley, Skip, Dixie and Benji who–along with their mom, Toto–are being fostered by an amazing San Francisco Bay Area Pound Puppy Rescue volunteer family.
One of the best things about my job is helping out local adoption groups like PPR by taking photos of dogs and cats (and other animals) they’re having a tough time adopting out. Sometimes it’s a little tough to get decent shots of darker-colored dogs for adoption sites and I’m happy to chip in and do really fulfilling work for a good cause.
Despite the cuteness overload you’ll see in the photos below, there’s a serious side to this since all four puppies and Toto, do need homes.
If you or anyone you know is a responsible pet-guardian type and are up for raising a puppy or taking in a really sweet, young momma dog (Toto is only 1 1/2) you can email Pound Puppy, go to their facebook page or email me and I can put you in touch with them.
Please, please help get the word out about these little guys and Toto! Share this page with anyone you think can help and let’s find all five of them forever homes.
